I have finished part 4 of the course
with 6 days out and I have learnt
that the concentration in prayer has
enabled me to practice my namaz and
worship on time with more devotion
and concentration, having two young
children I managed to follow a
regime that has now become a daily
routine for me and I have felt a
great difference in my daily life as
a whole. I would recommend this
course to all young women with
children and women who need to get
closer to Allah SWT.
I would like to teach this course
further to students within the
madrassa and would be most grateful
if you could provide me with
material and more information.

I must apologize for such a long delay in pursuing this most inspiring 'Concentration in Prayer' Course. I've not been keeping well for the past months n have had to travel for check-ups and medication. Please pray for my health so I can continue with the course. Ever since i started it I’ve felt so motivated by it, and i keep telling many others of it's importance so as to improve
This most essential 'ibadat' and to be able to elevate ourselves towards Allah (SWT).

Truly speaking..... It’s an ongoing battle to achieve total concentration or at least 90%.
The reason for my 'silence'...
I have been continuing part IV of the assignment & have had lapses for a few days now n than yet another reason for the 'silence'...
When you say significant distraction, each person I feel has a different way of looking at the word 'significant' this being another reason for the 'silence'...
The long & the short of it are: I am not satisfied (very much ashamed to admit) with my performance and so the struggle must go on.
On a positive note (this is just for yr feedback - in appreciation for the intensive course that you so kindly arranged & kept it going)- yes, there definitely have been changes (minor) in my salaah starting from wudhoo to adhan & iqamah which now has become part & parcel of salaah.

I want you to know in all honesty and sincerity that each time I talk about salaah with my friends, family, students there is always a heartfelt prayer that goes for you and your family, the ultimate recipient of this thawaab is of course your Marhum Mother of whom I too have fond memories.

I really have no words to express my appreciation. It's been learning all along the way and Part 4 sure kept me on my toes!!
One point; when you mention 'significant distraction' - everyone I feel looks at the word significant in a different way.
However, I think this was an excellent exercise and am going to try and keep it up
as in fill in the chart at the end of the day for my wajib prayers, Insha...h.
If you do make other charts or anything else related to prayer or other courses please keep me posted.

FEW LINES OF COMMENTS ON THE
COURSE
This
course was great to educate the me
of the importance of the Five
Daily Prayer and to explain how
to create, develop and maintain
concentration in Prayer. This
being an important aspect of
Prayer since Allah only requires
our full attention during Prayer
whilst communicating with Him.
In
this course I was able to
understand was the Five Daily
Prayer's status with Allah and
how to appreciate His presence
.The Course was so good to include
in the text and discussions by
leading Scholars and Jurists of
Islam especially about way and
thoughts pertaining to Imam
Khomeini. I have tried my level
best to concentrate on the prayer
and I feel am 50% better. The
course has really boosted me up.
Spending few
minutes each night thinking on
your various suggestion and
strategies especially how to
overcome distracting thoughts in
the prayer was really beneficial
which helped me from getting
distracted by thoughts and
sounds. I was now able to change
my way of praying (including adhan
& iqamah) and can assure the more
I flex my attention the stronger
it becomes, and easier to hold.

After going through the course and with deep pondering over it, a very change took place in me whilst praying.

I have tried my level best to concentrate on the prayer; yes I am 50% better.
The course has really boosted me up and I do use some notes when giving a talk to the children. As for the graphs and charts I do not want to cheat my self by sending them to you as I said I am 50% better.
Spending 15 minutes each night thinking on your various suggestion especially distracting thoughts cannot solve the problems in the prayer, is a real progress.
On the whole the notes which I read during the course have helped me, to change my way of praying. Of course I knew some of these things but then never practically did them, especially Category one Knowledge and Awareness and Category two setting the scene of prayer. May Allah (SWT) reward you here and hereafter
